Print Music

The Westport Music Center has the most outstanding collection of printed music in Fairfield County. Our stock represents domestic and foreign publishers in the areas of classical, popular, jazz, rock music, and more.

We carry a full line of instruction books and performance materials that are used by private instructors and school band and orchestra programs, including the Connecticut Regional and All-State required audition pieces. We also stock piano festival music, seasonal music, wedding folios, and other music for various special occasions.

Special interest categories include Broadway vocal selection books and scores, operatic scores, symphonic and vocal scores, and study scores. Collections of art songs, arias, and vocal training books are also available. Additionally, we have special sections for children's music including easy, big-note, and five finger piano books. Suzuki books & recordings are also available.

Our selection of contemporary popular music includes a wide variety of collections compiled by style or decade/era. We offer rock music books from "oldies" to "classic" to the most contemporary, in both piano/vocal/guitar and tableture formats. Our jazz offerings incude collections by numerous artists and in various jazz styles. We have lots of "fake" books (jazz, rock, classical, wedding, etc), including C, B-flat, E-flat, and bass clef books. We also carry collections of various types of folk and ethnic music.
