The Westport Music Center offers repairs that include major restorations as well as minor adjustments. Estimates at no charge are always available.
Minor repairs and maintenance, such as restringing an instrument, can usually be done in one or two days (sometimes less!). Simply changing a string or two on a guitar, mandolin, banjo, violin, viola, or cello can
often be done while you wait.
We often have loaner instruments available at no additional charge, so you can still practice while your instrument is being worked on (subject to availability).
Repair costs reflect a sensible fee based on the nature of the required or requested work, the quality of the instrument and the needs of the player who uses the instrument.
