S c h o o l O f M u s i c: - Summer Lessons

Summer 2011
Registration for summer lessons begins on Friday, April 1. The summer session runs from July 5 through August 18. We offer lessons on Mondays through Thursdays, from 1:00 PM. (Some earlier lesson times may be available.) Please note that our store hours may differ from school hours, and evening lesson are sometimes available. Contact our office to enroll. You can do your summer registration in person or over the phone.

Private Lessons
The Westport Music Center offers private lessons during the summer, just as we do during the school year. However there is no "semester"; you may simply register for as many lessons as you like.
Tuition is payable upon registration. (i.e., you pay for the lessons when you schedule them. You may schedule a lesson or two at a time, but we recommend scheduling your summer lessons as far in advance as possible. Availability is limited and all times are offoered on a first-come-first-served basis.)
30-minute lesson: $40.00
45-minute lesson: $60.00
60-minute lesson: $80.00

Instrument Exploratory Program
Come take a 30-minute lesson on the instrument of your choice. Learn what the instruments look like, sound like, and how it's played. This is a great opportunity for youngsters to decide which instrument they would like to pursue. We provide the instrument. (Minimum age requirements apply to some instruments. One instrument introduced per lesson.) $40.00
